New COVID-19 Cases in Seoul Reach 1,256 by 9 PM

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that as of 9 PM on the 28th, the number of new COVID-19 cases in Seoul was tentatively counted at 1,256.
This is 81 fewer than the 1,337 cases reported at the same time the previous day, but 181 more than the 1,075 cases reported a week earlier (on the 21st).
The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul has been rising sharply since it reached 1,004 on the 2nd of this month, two days after the phased recovery to normal life (With Corona) was implemented. On the 26th, it even recorded an all-time high of 1,888 cases.

As of 9 PM on this day, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul was tentatively counted at 152,967. The final tally will be compiled as of midnight on the 29th and announced in the morning.
