A 33-second video showing 10 male and female students from a middle school in Busan helping an elderly woman collecting scrap paper in front of the school gate has caught attention on the Busan Police Facebook page.
According to the Busan Police Agency and the official Facebook page of the institution on the 26th, around 3:30 PM on the 15th, about 10 students from Mangmi Middle School, who were leaving school after classes, encountered an elderly woman organizing scrap paper in a cart in front of the school gate.
Suddenly, a gust of wind blew on the chilly day, scattering the scrap paper in the cart everywhere, and the students reflexively took their hands out of their pockets and busily started picking it up. With nimble hands, the students quickly filled the cart again.
Afterwards, the friends gathered around the elderly woman, pushing and pulling the cart as they 'marched.' Some students carried bundles of scrap paper that could not fit in the cart in their arms, following behind the cart. At crosswalks with cars and narrow alleys, they also acted as an escort surrounding the elderly woman.
A police officer from the Traffic Division of Yeonje Police Station in Busan, who saw this, reported it to the Busan Police Agency, which found nearby CCTV footage and posted the video on the Busan Police Agency Facebook page on the morning of the 26th.
