Busan Port Authority Holds ESG Win-Win Cooperation Companies Meeting
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Port Authority (BPA) held an 'ESG Win-Win Cooperation Company Meeting' on the 25th.
The meeting was organized to invite about 50 partner companies from Bukhang and Sinhang to build consensus on the ESG-based contract system and promote mutual growth.
At the meeting, BPA explained government-recommended policies related to win-win cooperation in contract work, such as purchasing products from small and medium enterprises, payment policies (win-win payment system), and human rights management, and listened to and responded to difficulties by industry.
BPA conducted a communication session among partner companies and a survey. Suggestions from small and medium enterprises currently under contract were prioritized; improvements that can be made immediately will be implemented, and those requiring further review will be discussed and addressed later.
