Lotte's President Kim Gyo-hyun Promoted to Vice Chairman... To Serve as Chief Representative of Chemical Division (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte announced on the 25th through its 2022 regular executive personnel appointments that Kim Gyo-hyun, President of the Chemical BU, has been promoted to Vice Chairman.
Kim Gyo-hyun, who will serve as the overall representative of the chemical division, was born in 1957 and is the group's top petrochemical expert. He was promoted to Vice Chairman in recognition of his achievement in restoring performance to pre-COVID-19 levels.

He graduated from Kyungshin High School and majored in Chemical Engineering at Chung-Ang University. He joined Honam Petrochemical in 1984 and served as head of the New Business Division. From 2014 to 2016, he led the global chemical business as CEO of LC Titan, and from 2017 to 2018, he served as CEO of Lotte Chemical. Since 2019, he has been the head of Lotte Group's Chemical BU, and since last year, he has concurrently held the position of integrated CEO of Lotte Chemical.
