934 COVID-19 Cases in Seoul by 6 PM... 151 Fewer Than Previous Day
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Seoul city announced that the number of new COVID-19 confirmed cases in Seoul was tentatively counted at 934 from 0:00 to 18:00 on the 24th, a period of 18 hours.
Compared to the same time frame, it decreased by 151 from 1,085 the previous day. It is also 58 fewer than 992 cases reported a week ago on the 17th.
The total number of confirmed cases in Seoul per day recorded 1,221 on September 24, then dropped to the 400-700 range in the last week of October, before soaring again to 1,004 on the 2nd of this month.
On the 16th, there were 1,436 cases, and on the 23rd, 1,735 cases, setting new all-time high records twice in about three weeks since the phased recovery to normal life (With COVID-19) was implemented. Additionally, from the 13th to the 23rd of this month, the daily record was broken for 11 consecutive days.
