According to the Korea Film Council's integrated box office data on the 24th, "Genre Only Romance" attracted 30,893 viewers on the 23rd, securing first place at the box office. Since its release on the 17th, the film's cumulative audience has reached 396,789.
"Genre Only Romance" is a film depicting the variety-filled private life of a bestselling author whose work and life become tangled through encounters with people involved in an unusual romance. Actors Ryu Seung-ryong, Kim Hee-won, and Moo Jin-sung star in the film, delivering wholesome laughter.
During the same period, the Marvel movie "Eternals" drew 20,656 viewers, ranking second. Released on the 3rd, its cumulative audience stands at 2,888,988. Other films attracted only around 10,000 viewers each.
