FSN-Six Network, 'T-ara Comeback Commemorative NFT' Highest Grade Sold Out
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] FSN, a KOSDAQ-listed company, achieved a complete sell-out of the highest grade NFTs in its first official NFT (Non-Fungible Token) project launched through its blockchain division Six Network.
On the 18th, FSN officially launched the ‘T-ara Comeback Commemorative NFT’ and began sales. Among these, the ‘Legendary’ grade NFTs, which were issued in a limited quantity of 300 pieces and classified as the rarest and highest priced, sold out completely within one day of release.
The company explained that each sold piece was assigned a unique hash value, symbolizing a ‘one-of-a-kind collectible,’ and analyzed that T-ara, releasing an album after four years, received strong support from domestic and international fandoms who had long awaited their comeback. With growing market interest and demand, FSN is receiving continuous collaboration inquiries for additional NFT projects and plans to proceed with new NFT projects alongside various partners.
The ‘T-ara Comeback Commemorative’ NFT works were created as 3D images optimized for digital environments and released in four grades based on collectible value: Legendary, Epic, Rare, and Normal. The sales prices per NFT by grade were 6000 SIX for Legendary, 2400 SIX for Epic, 600 SIX for Rare, and 120 SIX for Normal. Based on the closing price on the 22nd at the Coinone exchange, this translates to a minimum of 10,000 KRW to 540,000 KRW per NFT.
Lee Sangseok, CEO of FSN, stated, “This NFT project is the first case achieved by combining FSN’s technology, which has steadily invested in blockchain technology and undergone market validation over the past four years, with the K-content capabilities of MakeUs’s ‘Dingo,’ boasting the largest scale in Korea. With the rising market interest in NFTs, having a specialized development team and content IP enabled us to provide services quickly. The complete sell-out of the Legendary NFTs allowed us to gauge market interest and the future growth potential of NFTs.”
He added, “We will continue to prepare more solidly to discover NFT items with greater collectible value and lead the market by launching an NFT marketplace.”
