Starting the day before, this course is a practical professional training program newly established to support the industry's digital transformation (DX), based on a survey conducted last month by the Trade Association targeting 329 domestic export companies on the 'Current Status of Companies' Digital Environment and Competitiveness.'
In the survey, companies rated their 'digital competitiveness' at an average of only 46.7 out of 100 points. While recognizing its importance, 25.9% responded that they 'lack personnel.' Accordingly, KITA explained that this course was created to cultivate and supply related professionals to the field.
The first cohort’s specialization is Big Data. Over the next six months, trainees will learn programming, database, web component architecture development, and big data analysis through 840 hours of training. Alumni from the Smart Cloud IT Master Course, which KITA has operated since 2001, will also participate to provide mentoring on industry status, career development, and projects. After completion, trainees can work in fields such as front-end and back-end development, data analysis, marketing, and strategic planning.
