Gwangju Shinsegae Creates Christmas Atmosphere with 'Puvilla and Friends'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongho Shin] Gwangju Shinsegae Co., Ltd. (CEO Donghoon Lee) announced on the 21st that it has created a full-fledged Christmas atmosphere one month early in the first-floor plaza with Shinsegae's representative character 'Poovilla' and friends.
'Poovilla' is a cute character inspired by a white bear, which Shinsegae Department Store planned, developed, and launched entirely by itself for Christmas marketing in 2017.
This production will continue until the end of the year with a carousel concept featuring Poovilla and friends along with a lovely new pink cat friend character named 'Roger.'
At the Culture Plaza, a Christmas tree decorated with splendid ornaments and a 'Christmas Photo Zone' designed like a small forest have been set up, allowing families, couples, and friends to enjoy a fantastic and happy Christmas atmosphere and take memorable photos together.
Along with this, from the 19th of last month until the 5th of next month, a Holiday Adventure event with Poovilla, Shinsegae Department Store's representative character, is being held. The random box prize event is open to anyone through the Shinsegae mobile application (app).
Various prize benefits are offered, including KakaoTalk Poovilla emoticons, 7% fashion discount coupons, and Members Bar coffee vouchers.
