Emergency Fine Dust Reduction Measures to Be Implemented in Seoul Tomorrow
From 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the 21st, an emergency fine dust reduction measure will be implemented in Seoul.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced this and explained on the 20th that people should refrain from going out as much as possible and pay attention to health management by wearing health masks if necessary.
The emergency fine dust reduction measure is issued when the fine dust concentration is forecasted to exceed a certain level continuously.
During this period, shortened and adjusted operating hours for air pollutant emission workplaces and restrictions on the use of old construction machinery will be enforced.
However, since the 21st is a holiday, the operation of grade 5 emission vehicles will not be restricted. Also, to respond to COVID-19, the closure of administrative and public institution parking lots will not be implemented.
