LH Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters Holds Meeting with Women Entrepreneurs for Mutual Growth
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jin-Hyung Park] Korea Land and Housing Corporation Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters (Head Lee Jae-ro) held a meeting for mutual growth with women entrepreneurs on the 18th at its office, attended by eight women entrepreneurs belonging to the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association Jeonnam Branch (Branch Chief Kim Young).
At the meeting, discussions focused on the difficulties faced on the ground while managing women-owned businesses amid the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and ways to achieve mutual growth.
The women business representatives proposed practical support policies during the meeting, including ▲requests for direct contracts with women-owned businesses ▲expansion of the corporation’s ordered volume ▲relaxation of various regulations ▲requests for provision of demonstration sites for new technologies.
Head Lee Jae-ro stated, “We will actively play a role to provide opportunities and benefits to women-owned businesses through expanding the purchase rate from women-owned businesses, efforts to secure new projects, referencing cases from other institutions, and providing opportunities to promote new technologies.” He added, “We hope that women-owned businesses will also strengthen their own competitiveness and grow together as ‘partners in growth’ for mutual coexistence and development.”
