According to the Gwangju East and West Office of Education on the 19th, this campaign was organized together with related organizations such as the police station, district offices, the Patrol Mom Gwangju Branch, and the Youth Violence Prevention Foundation, as well as local community groups, to proactively prevent youth from entering crowded facilities, school violence, and juvenile delinquency.
The 'School Violence Prevention Campaign' was carried out in major youth-dense areas such as Chungjang-ro and the Sangmu district. Masks and school violence prevention promotional materials were distributed to encourage public interest and participation.
Additionally, youth were encouraged to refrain from entering crowded facilities including PC rooms and karaoke rooms, and to comply with personal quarantine guidelines.
The Gwangju East and West Office of Education plans to conduct extracurricular life education activities with members of the Teacher Life Education Research Association to prevent various juvenile delinquency, school violence, and public smoking incidents that occur after the CSAT.
A representative from the Gwangju East and West Office of Education stated, "We will cooperate with related organizations to ensure that students, whose tension has eased after the College Scholastic Ability Test, are not exposed to harmful environments," and added, "We will continue to conduct life education to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and school violence so that students can have a stable school life."
