[Asia Economy Reporters Ryu Jeong-min and Lee Ji-eun] President Moon Jae-in has instructed the government to operate the quarantine and medical response system flawlessly in response to the recent situation where daily COVID-19 cases have exceeded 3,000.
Park Kyung-mi, the Blue House spokesperson, stated during a briefing at the Chuncheon Press Center on the 18th, "This is President Moon's message regarding the increase in confirmed and critically ill patients amid the gradual recovery of daily life and the return of vitality."
President Moon directed, "The government must devote all efforts to stabilizing the situation by operating the quarantine and medical response system without any gaps." Meanwhile, referring to foreign cases, President Moon pledged, "Although the recovery of daily life is not smooth, just as we have overcome numerous crises well, we will do our best in the gradual recovery of daily life."
President Moon urged, "Citizens should not be anxious but unite their strength through strict compliance with quarantine rules and participation in vaccinations."
