bhc Group Completes Acquisition of Outback Steakhouse
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] bhc Group announced on the 18th that it has completed the final procedures for the acquisition of Outback Steakhouse.
bhc Group, after being selected as the preferred negotiator for the acquisition of Outback Steakhouse in July, proceeded with the acquisition process and on the 17th faithfully completed all obligations under the SPA (Stock Purchase Agreement), thus finalizing the acquisition.
With the completion of the Outback Steakhouse acquisition, bhc Group evaluated that it has grown into the largest comprehensive dining company in Korea.
Currently, bhc Group operates various dining brands including its chicken franchise bhc Chicken, premium Korean beef specialty restaurant ‘Changgo43’, sundae soup specialty restaurant ‘Keunmam Halmae Sundaeguk’, beef specialty restaurant ‘Gram Gram’, and high-end jokbal specialty restaurant ‘Jokbalsanghoe’.
