On the same day, Yoon posted on his Facebook, "The excess tax revenue compared to the second supplementary budget this year is estimated to be about 19 trillion won. The Ministry of Economy and Finance did not predict it accurately," but added, "It is even more regrettable to see the Democratic Party trying to use the 19 trillion won excess tax revenue as election funds like petty cash." This was a criticism in response to the Democratic Party and presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung's claim that the 19 trillion won excess tax revenue should be used for "nationwide disaster relief funds (quarantine support funds)."
