[Asia Economy Reporter Park Ji-hwan] On the 18th, when the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) is held, the weather will be warm without the usual cold wave associated with the exam. However, some areas in the central region will experience rain.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 17th, between early morning (3 a.m.) and morning (9 a.m.), light rain may sporadically begin in the Seoul metropolitan area and northern Gangwon Yeongseo. During the same period, raindrops may fall along the northern Chungnam west coast.
The rain on this day will expand from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to Gangwon Yeongseo and northern Chungcheong, then mostly stop between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Expected precipitation amounts are around 5mm in northern Gyeonggi, central and northern Gangwon Yeongseo, and less than 5mm in Seoul, Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, southern Gangwon Yeongseo, northern Chungcheong, and the West Sea 5 Islands.
The morning low temperature on the 18th will range from 1 to 10 degrees Celsius, higher than the -3.5 degrees Celsius on the 17th and 8.2 degrees Celsius above zero. The daytime high temperature is expected to be between 13 and 19 degrees Celsius.
