Gwangju Nambu Fire Station Delivers 'Love Fire Extinguishers' to May Mothers Association
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jin-Hyung Park] Gwangju Nambu Fire Station (Chief Lee Jeong-ja) announced on the 16th that it delivered fire extinguishers to the May Mothers' Association.
The May Mothers' Association is a group of women whose families were sacrificed or affected during the May 18 Democratic Movement.
On the 14th, Nambu Fire Station conducted a fire prevention campaign and promoted the installation of residential fire safety facilities in connection with the Good Morning! Yangrim event. They also visited the May Mothers' Association to provide basic fire safety facility inspection methods, fire prevention education, and delivered fire extinguishers.
Kim Haeng-mo, Head of the Prevention and Safety Division at Nambu Fire Station, said, “We hope the May Mothers can live safer lives, and that the fire extinguishers of love will help in fire prevention.”
