Kiwoom Securities Hosts the 30th University Student Stock Simulation Investment Competition
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Kiwoom Securities announced on the 15th that it will hold the 30th University (Graduate) Student Stock Trading Simulation Contest to celebrate the winter vacation season.
The registration period for this contest is from today until January 2nd of next year. The contest period is from the 29th until January 7th of next year, and participants are university (graduate) students and students on leave.
Marking its 30th edition, the Kiwoom Securities University Student Stock Trading Simulation Contest offers prizes to all participants who register. The simulation contest is held annually to promote a sound investment culture among students and provides generous benefits to winners. The top 1st to 3rd place winners will receive scholarships (4 million KRW, 3 million KRW, and 2 million KRW respectively) and internship opportunities, while those placing 4th to 10th will receive scholarships of 1 million KRW each. Participants ranked 11th to 100th will receive 50,000 KRW each. All winners from 1st to 100th place will be awarded a Kiwoom Securities simulation contest certificate.
During the contest period, various prize events will be held for participating students.
All students participating in the Kiwoom Securities simulation contest will receive a McDonald's Vanilla Sundae ice cream, and those who share posts related to the simulation contest on SNS will be entered into a draw where 1,000 people will win a Twosome Place Dalgona Latte. Additionally, participants who open a non-face-to-face account for the first time during the contest period will receive 10,000 KRW in cash. Furthermore, among the top 200 students by simulated trading amount each week, 30 will be selected by lottery to receive one share of stock each, totaling 180 shares distributed.
