Hyundai Motor Namyang Research Center, COVID-19 Cluster Infection Occurs
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Employees at Hyundai Motor Company's Namyang Research Center have been collectively confirmed positive for COVID-19.
According to the industry on the 15th, recently, 21 employees working on the same floor of Building 1 of the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) at the Namyang Research Center located in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, tested positive.
Most of these cases are known to be breakthrough infections confirmed after completing vaccination.
Hyundai Motor Company has reportedly switched all employees on the floor where the cluster infection occurred to remote work and is monitoring the trend of additional confirmed cases.
