On the 15th, Seoul City announced that it signed a business agreement with the admissions education company ‘Uway’ to support ‘SeoulLearn Career and Admission Services,’ providing various step-by-step services to students preparing for the CSAT.
Students doing last-minute reviews for the CSAT are recommended to watch five newly released lectures on ‘SeoulLearn’ starting from the 16th. They can check for any overlooked points by reviewing the English section CSAT question pattern analysis, math section CSAT practice questions, and Korean section CSAT expected works list. Tips for the exam day at the test site, as well as interview and essay preparation lectures, are also available.
These five lectures are additional content provided by Seoul City following the earlier release of 63 admissions contents from private education companies such as Uway through ‘SeoulLearn.’ These are ‘open lectures’ accessible to any citizen without the need for membership registration or login. They cover useful information on regular and early admissions types and subject learning methods for high school students preparing for the CSAT as well as examinees.
From the 18th, the day of the CSAT, until the end of the year, SeoulLearn members who took the CSAT can use the ‘Uway Acceptance Prediction Service’ on SeoulLearn for free to devise their regular admission strategies. By entering their CSAT scores and school records, they can check university-specific acceptance predictions, recommended universities, and win-loss strategies for the Ga-Na-Da groups based on statistical data.
An overseas university application service exclusive to SeoulLearn members has also been prepared. Uway Global will select 20 SeoulLearn members on a first-come, first-served basis to support overseas university admission consulting and application fees. Applications can be submitted through SeoulLearn in December.
Meanwhile, Seoul City plans to broadcast a total of three ‘Live Admission Strategy Lectures’ on the Seoul City YouTube channel even after the CSAT. The first broadcast will be on the 19th at 8 p.m., the day after the CSAT, and will be accessible to all Seoul citizens. Current teachers affiliated with the Seoul Admission Guidance Council will provide career and learning strategies for high school grades 1 to 3 after the CSAT and answer students’ questions in real time. The second and third broadcasts will be scheduled around the CSAT score announcement day and just before the regular admission deadline, covering CSAT score analysis, admission strategies by score, and last-minute application strategies.
On the 25th, the second Metaverse special lecture will be held on ‘SeoulLearn.’ This special lecture, consisting of three topics, will feature lectures by current and former teachers and admissions experts. It includes real-time Q&A for high school seniors unsure about what to do after the CSAT, analysis of the 2022 CSAT provisional scores and application strategies, and interview preparation by early admission types.
