[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] LG Electronics announced on the 15th that it will conduct 'LG Room&TV' experiential marketing targeting customers who enjoy camping. LG Room&TV will be installed at the glamping zone of 'Phoenix Pyeongchang' in Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, and the glamping suite room at 'L'Escape Hotel' in Jung-gu, Seoul, allowing visitors to experience it.
Since its launch early last year, LG Room&TV has gained a reputation as 'optimal for emotional camping' due to its easy installation and mobility, smart connectivity enabled by the web operating system (webOS), and high-quality design, leading to a recent surge in sales.
LG Electronics explained that this event was planned for the rapidly growing 'camping tribe.' This product is a display device that serves as both a TV and a monitor, featuring a 27-inch size with FHD (1920x1080) resolution. Its all-in-one design requires no separate assembly process, making installation and movement convenient.
Additionally, by connecting to wired or wireless networks, users can enjoy various content anytime and anywhere through webOS 4.5, including Netflix, YouTube, Wavve, Watcha, and Tving. The built-in 5W×2ch speakers and Bluetooth function allow music enjoyment by linking with smartphones. The accessory market related to LG Room&TV is also growing. Dedicated bags for product storage, wood stands, trays, and more have been released to the market.
