Korea Petroleum Management Service Shortens Urea Water Inspection Period from 20 Days to Within 5 Days
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] The Korea Petroleum Management Service recently decided to shorten the inspection period for automotive urea solution from the current 20 days to within 5 days to resolve the supply shortage caused by the lack of urea supply from China.
In addition, the inspection submission method will be simplified by temporarily allowing on-site submissions at the Petroleum Management Service, in addition to the existing method of collecting samples at the urea solution production site.
Furthermore, technical support consulting, including guidance on testing methods and feedback on analysis results, is being provided to ensure that urea solution produced or imported by manufacturers meets manufacturing standards.
Cha Donghyung, Director of the Petroleum Management Service, stated, "We will promote rapid inspections through a fast track to minimize the inspection period and continuously provide technical support to the target companies to ensure that the quality inspection process does not disrupt the supply of urea solution."
