Ananti Signs MOU with Hallaholdings to Establish Jeju's Largest Tourism Platform
Establishment of a Platform with Golf Course, Accommodation Facilities, and Cultural Spaces
Located in Kimnyeong-ri, Gujwa-eup
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Ananti announced on the 9th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with Hallaholdings on the 8th to create the largest platform in Jeju.
Starting with this business agreement, Ananti plans to develop a differentiated platform by 2024 on a 2.08 million㎡ (approximately 630,000 pyeong) site in Kimnyeong-ri, Gujwa-eup, Jeju, in collaboration with Hallaholdings. The platform will include accommodation facilities and various leisure and cultural facilities, including the Saint Four Golf Course currently operated by Hallaholdings.
Ananti stated, "The reason for choosing this location as the next-generation platform development area is its proximity to the sea and the pristine natural environment surrounded by evergreen broadleaf forests." They added, "The vast, unspoiled forest creates an exotic atmosphere reminiscent of a tropical rainforest, and beyond it, the blue Jeju sea can be viewed, making it an attractive spot." Nearby are Kimnyeong Beach, Hamdeok Beach, and Woljeongri Beach.
The 36-hole Saint Four Golf Course is situated at an altitude of 80 to 130 meters above sea level. In the future, when operated as Ananti Jeju Club, there are plans for major renovations to upgrade the facilities.
On the adjacent land, Ananti's accommodation facilities such as hotels and penthouses, as well as cultural facilities, will be established. Facilities including Ananti's signature Eternal Journey, Waterhouse, galleries, restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and sports facilities are planned. The scale is expected to be similar to 'Village de Ananti,' which will open in 2023 within the Osiria Tourism Complex in Gijang-gun, Busan.
