[Asia Economy Reporter Kim So-young] A Blue House petition urging Lee Jun-seok, the leader of the People Power Party, to refrain from social media (SNS) activities has emerged. This is interpreted as an effect of Lee's full disclosure of the 'number of party members who left' amid ongoing resignations of dissatisfied 2030s following the primary election results.
On the 9th, a petition titled "Please take away Lee Jun-seok's smartphone" was posted on the Blue House petition board.
The petitioner, who identified themselves as a "30-something young person living in Seoul," began by saying, "I considered Lee Jun-seok an alternative who would change the old image of the People Power Party by calling for rational communication in solidarity with the 2030 generation. However, he thoroughly betrayed us."
The petitioner pointed out, "After becoming party leader, he engaged in daily keyboard battles (comment fights) with influential presidential candidates such as Yoon Seok-yeol and Won Hee-ryong, inciting his supporters and disappointing many sensible 2030 People Power Party supporters and the public."
They claimed, "During the primary, he did not remain neutral, exaggerating the faults of certain candidates while remaining silent about the faults of a specific candidate, namely Hong Joon-pyo, who was on his side."

What is more serious is that even after candidate Yoon Seok-yeol was finally elected, he continues to cause discord," they criticized.
