Support for Companies in Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungnam Regions to Enter Vietnam Market
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] An online consultation and briefing session to support local CEOs of companies in Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungnam regions to enter the Vietnamese market will be held in Daejeon.
The city announced on the 9th that from the 16th to the 19th of this month, the "2021 Chungcheong Region-TJB Vietnam Business Partnership Matching Day" event will take place at the TJB Daejeon Broadcasting Public Hall.
The event is co-hosted by Daejeon City, Sejong City, and Chungnam Province. At this event, export consultations and investment briefings aimed at expanding the sales channels of local companies in Vietnam will be conducted through an online video system.
A total of 50 companies, including 15 from the Daejeon area, are expected to participate. Participating companies were selected after a public recruitment and marketability evaluation.
At the opening ceremony on the 16th, Nguyen Vu Tung, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea, will attend to support Chungcheong region companies' entry into Vietnam.

Ko Hyun-deok, Director of the City’s Job and Economy Bureau, said, “We understand that local small and medium-sized enterprises are facing great difficulties in pioneering overseas markets due to the prolonged spread of COVID-19. Considering this situation, the city will devise various support measures to contribute to securing stable sales channels and increasing exports.”
