Gyeongnam Province Forms TF Until Stable Supply of Urea Solution
Park Jong-won, Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs of Gyeongsangnam-do, is conducting an emergency response special team meeting on urea solution.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gyeongsangnam-do recently formed a special task force (TF) for emergency countermeasures on urea solution supply to stabilize the supply amid recent shortages, and held its first meeting on the 8th at the provincial government meeting room.
Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs Park Jong-won leads the TF, which includes 10 offices, bureaus, and headquarters such as the Fire Headquarters, Urban Transportation Bureau, and Climate Environment and Forestry Bureau.
At the meeting, they discussed the current stock and supply trends of urea solution for emergency vehicles closely related to residents' safety, such as fire trucks and ambulances, as well as commercial transport vehicles closely related to residents' daily lives, anticipated issues, and plans to secure urea solution.
The TF plans to hold meetings regularly until the urea solution supply stabilizes to check the response status by sector. Gyeongnam Province identified that commercial transport vehicles using urea solution in the province include 3,613 buses and 9,875 trucks.

Deputy Governor Park said, "Since the central government is also taking measures, we will actively cooperate with government policies such as crackdowns on hoarding, and consider and implement response plans that can be done at the provincial level."
