Lee Young-beom after 7 Years of Divorce: "I Have Never Cheated with an Actress" [Full Statement]

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actor Lee Young-beom has stated that the claims of 'infidelity' made by his ex-wife, comedian Noh Yoo-jung, are not true.

On the 7th, Lee Young-beom began by saying, "After our divorce in 2015, I have already expressed my apologies to the viewers for not being able to maintain a harmonious marriage as a public figure."

He continued, "Since then, I have come across various reports about my marriage, and although I had much to say, I endured as much as possible and spent time in personal regret and repentance."

Lee Young-beom asserted, "There is no truth to the claims that I had an affair with a certain actress."

He emphasized, "From now on, I will relentlessly pursue those who commit character assassination against me and ensure they face legal judgment through strong legal actions."

Earlier, on the 29th of last month, Noh Yoo-jung appeared on an online broadcast run by Jeong Ho-geun, a former actor turned shaman, and claimed, "My ex-husband Lee Young-beom's infidelity caused the breakdown of our marriage."

Noh Yoo-jung expressed that she still cannot forgive the female actress who had an affair with Lee Young-beom, saying, "It is very difficult when (the actress) appears on TV. However, the reason I cannot release my feelings is truly because of our children."

Lee Young-beom and Noh Yoo-jung married in 1994 but divorced by mutual consent in April 2015 after four years of separation. They have two children.

To be clear, there is no truth to the claims that I had an affair with a certain actress.

I hereby warn you. Those who have created YouTube channels to slander and insult me should take them down immediately. Also, all malicious comments based on this should be deleted.

Furthermore, I will relentlessly pursue those who commit character assassination against me and ensure they face legal judgment through strong legal actions.
