On the 8th, Korbit announced a major update to its metaverse-based cryptocurrency platform, 'Korbit Town.' While the platform initially had a strong community aspect supporting chat and investment portfolio sharing when it launched in April, this time it will apply the P2E model. This update was carried out in collaboration with metaverse startup PitFunds, which played a leading role in building Korbit Town at its launch.
Users can move to the party venue within Korbit Town's village and participate in the 'Lucky Bag Club Party.' They can earn points by roaming around the party venue for a certain period or attacking other users. Points can be used to mine lucky bags within the party venue, which can then be exchanged for cryptocurrency rewards at the exchange.
Additionally, Korbit Town's access time has been shortened and pages improved to enhance accessibility. In the future, easy access will be provided through a mobile application (app). Furthermore, users will be able to display works purchased from Korbit's non-fungible token (NFT) market, and YouTube streamers will be invited to participate in Korbit Town, focusing on revitalizing the metaverse ecosystem.
