Gwangju Kyungsilryeon Holds 'Member's Night' Including Awarding of Plaques of Appreciation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Economic Justice Practice Citizens' Coalition recently held the '2021 Gwangju Kyungsilryeon Members' Night' event at the Jeonil Building 245 Multipurpose Auditorium, inviting guests and members, the coalition announced on the 7th.
This Members' Night was organized to express gratitude to the members and citizens of Gwangju and to provide a platform for communication, as Gwangju Kyungsilryeon has been tirelessly working for 31 years to realize 'social justice and economic justice, and to build a society where hardworking people are respected.'
At the event, service plaques were awarded to Lee Hyang-sook, who made significant contributions to the development of Gwangju Kyungsilryeon, and Seo Jae-hyung, Chairman of the Architecture and Urban Committee of Gwangju Kyungsilryeon. Appreciation plaques were also presented to long-term members with over 15 years of membership.
Additionally, Park Hong-geun, an architect and advisory committee member of Gwangju Kyungsilryeon, gave a keynote presentation on 'Proposal for the Establishment of the Gwangju City Urban Future Hall and Development Plans for the Chief Architect System' as suggestions for a sustainable city in Gwangju.
Gwangju Kyungsilryeon stated that it will continue to be more dedicated to its role as a fair watchdog and policy alternative proposer for economic and social justice in the local community.
