On the 5th, Yoon posted on his Facebook, "China began restricting urea solution exports on the 15th of last month, but our government only held a meeting with relevant ministries on the 2nd of this month," and added, "The Moon administration should do everything possible to overcome the urea solution crisis."
He criticized the government’s measures, such as requesting customs cooperation from the Chinese government or diversifying import sources, as "mere theoretical content."
He also said, "They say they will ban hoarding, but this is a typical belated response," and "The plan to convert industrial urea for vehicle use is said to be practically difficult by the industry." He pointed out, "The state is not where it should be."
Yoon also criticized the Moon administration’s 'SoBuJang' (materials, parts, and equipment) policy. He pointed out, "They say they will diversify import sources for items with absolute overseas dependence, but they failed to prevent the urea solution crisis in advance."
He continued, "First, the fire at our feet must be extinguished by resolving China’s regulations," and said, "The opposition party will also support the government’s efforts."
Regarding long-term measures, he stated, "It is urgent to establish a national-level supply chain control tower to manage supply chain risks for items closely related to daily life, such as urea solution."
He added, "If I become president, I will set up a government-level control tower," and "I will identify rare resources and raw materials with high overseas dependence, especially those relying on imports from specific countries, and prepare short- and long-term supply and demand measures."
