Damyang, the City of Humanities Education, Hosts 'Humanities Book Talk'
On the 11th and 25th, Storytelling and Participant Discussions at Dambit Youth Culture House
[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Jeonnam Damyang-gun announced on the 1st that it will hold the 'Humanities Book Talk' event to revitalize the city of humanities education on reading books on the 11th and 25th of this month.
This event was planned to provide various educational participation opportunities as a city of humanities education and to promote the habit of reading one book per person among the residents.
Author Oh Yeon-ho of "Can We Love Ourselves Too" and Ki Yoon-hee, CEO of EduTalk at the Talent Education Center, selected the theme books "Lessons for Life" and "Psychology through Movies and Myths," and the event will be conducted in a dialogue format with participants along with stories about the works.
The event will be held twice at 7 p.m. on the 11th and 25th at the Edu Center Education Hall (3rd floor of Dambit Youth Culture House), and 30 participants will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis to comply with COVID-19 quarantine rules.
A county official stated, "We will contribute to the inheritance and development of humanities centered on human values, where residents learn and grow by themselves, through the development of humanities education content and diverse programs."
