Car Bomb Terror Near Aden Airport, Yemen... "At Least 12 Civilians Dead"

According to officials, a passenger car exploded due to a bomb near Aden Airport in the afternoon, killing at least 12 civilians. The Southern Transitional Council (STC, a southern separatist force) also announced in a statement that many civilians, including children, were killed or injured in the car bomb attack. AFP reported that no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
On the same day, local Saba News Agency reported that six children were killed in a mortar attack by rebels (Houthis, self-proclaimed Ansar Allah) in the southwestern city of Taiz. Taiz, with a population of 600,000, is under the jurisdiction of the Yemeni government.
