The city announced on the 31st that it has secured 115 exclusive parking spaces for PMs and will begin installation starting next month.
Earlier, at the Traffic Safety Deliberation Committee held at the Incheon Police Agency, exclusive parking spaces were selected focusing on subway entrances and universities, which are areas with high PM usage density.
Shared PM companies will actively cooperate to eradicate unauthorized abandonment by providing incentives such as coupons and usage fee discounts to users who park in recommended parking and PM docking zones.
Users who return PMs in no-parking zones or locations obstructing traffic will be penalized.
The city plans to add more PM parking lots through monitoring and conduct campaigns with the police agency, education office, universities, and shared PM companies to improve user awareness and foster a safe traffic culture.
