From the 1st, Priority 1 Applications for Public Sale General Supply and Newlywed Hopefuls Residing in the Seoul Metropolitan Area Accepted
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo Gang-wook] From the 1st of next month, the second pre-application for public sale general supply in 11 districts in the Seoul metropolitan area, including the 3rd phase new towns, and newlywed hope towns for residents of the metropolitan area will begin.
In this second pre-application, a total of 10,102 housing units will be supplied across 11 districts. This includes 5,976 units for public sale and 4,126 units for newlywed hope towns. Since this is more than 2.3 times the supply volume of 4,333 units from the first pre-application, demand is very high.
On the first day of application, the 25th, the number of visitors to the pre-application website exceeded 240,000. The maximum number of simultaneous connections reached 3,282. From the first day until 3 p.m. on the 29th, the cumulative number of visitors approached 900,000. During this period, the 3rd phase new town website had 90,000 visitors.
The application target districts are △Namyangju Wangsuk 2 △Seongnam Sinchon △Seongnam Nakseong △Seongnam Bokjeong 2 △Suwon Dangsu △Uijeongbu Ujeong △Gunpo Daeyami △Uiwang Wolam △Bucheon Wonjong △Incheon Geomdan △Paju Unjeong 3.
The eligibility for public sale general supply requires applicants to be members of a household without homeownership residing in the metropolitan area as of the resident recruitment announcement date (October 15), to be subscribers of the resident savings plan, and to meet ranking qualifications. For housing units with exclusive area of 60㎡ or less, asset ownership and income criteria must also be met.
For public sale general supply, on the 1st, applicants who are first priority in general supply with more than 3 years of no homeownership and a recognized payment amount of 6 million KRW or more residing in the relevant area can apply; on the 2nd, all first priority applicants residing in the relevant area can apply.
From the 3rd to the 5th, first priority applicants residing in Gyeonggi Province and other metropolitan areas can apply, and on the 8th, all second priority applicants can apply.
For newlywed hope towns, applications for Seongnam Bokjeong 2 (A1 block), Bucheon Wonjong (B2 block), Gunpo Daeyami (A2 block), and Seongnam Nakseong (A1 block) were closed for residents of the relevant area and those who have lived in the relevant area for more than 2 years.
From November 1st to 5th, applications for Uiwang Wolam (A1 and A3 blocks) and Suwon Dangsu (A5 block) will be accepted from residents of Gyeonggi Province and other metropolitan areas.
Application submissions are primarily online, and to improve accessibility and convenience for applicants, from this second pre-application, applications can also be submitted via the mobile app ‘LH Application Center’.

For elderly people aged 65 or older and persons with disabilities who have difficulty using the internet, on-site application centers (located in Wirye, Goyang, Namyangju, Dongtan, etc.) will be operated, and applicants can visit after making a prior reservation to submit their applications.
