'Incheon e-eum' 10% Cashback Limit Raised to 1 Million Won... For the Month of November
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon City will raise the 10% cashback limit of the local currency 'Incheon e-eum' from 500,000 won to 1,000,000 won for the entire month of November.
Accordingly, if you pay 1,000,000 won using Incheon e-eum, you can get 100,000 won back. The city decided to increase the cashback limit as part of participating in the '2021 Korea Sale Festa' held for two weeks starting from December 1.
The city expects this measure to invigorate the local economy, which has been stagnant due to COVID-19, along with the expansion of Incheon e-eum issuance.
Previously, since March last year, the city has been providing 10% cashback up to a payment amount of 500,000 won.
Incheon e-eum is currently the largest local currency platform nationwide with 1.62 million subscribers and has surpassed a cumulative issuance amount of 6.8 trillion won.
Through various additional services such as cashback, Incheon e-mall, Incheon direct purchase, Delivery e-eum, Sharing e-eum, and e-eum shopping, it is realizing the revitalization of the local economy and strengthening of the local community.
Meanwhile, various events are being held in the online citizen welfare mall 'Incheon e-mall,' operated on the Incheon e-eum platform, including giving points through a lottery upon purchase certification in line with the Korea Sale Festa.
