"Fast and Easy Kindergarten Enrollment Application"… KFTC Applies Financial Authentication to 'Cheoeumhakgyoro'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] The application process for admission to national, public, and private kindergartens for young children (ages 3 to 5) through Cheoeum Hakgyoro will become faster and more convenient.
The Korea Financial Telecommunications & Clearings Institute announced on the 29th that it will apply the financial authentication service (YESKEY) to Cheoeum Hakgyoro.
YESKEY is a cloud-based certificate that allows authentication using a 6-digit PIN, pattern, fingerprint, etc., without installing a separate program. It is issued free of charge at the authentication centers of 21 bank websites and applications and can be used for a lifetime.
From any device such as PC or smartphone, users can complete everything from signing up for Cheoeum Hakgyoro to submitting kindergarten applications and registering at kindergartens using only the YESKEY 6-digit PIN.
The Korea Financial Telecommunications & Clearings Institute expects about 300,000 parents to use the service starting from the 1st of next month.
