[Muan＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan Police Station (Chief Yoon Hu-ui) announced on the 28th that it held a work inspection meeting for police officers in charge of autonomous police affairs.

Using examples such as the New York Police, which started the autonomous police system earlier than South Korea, the meeting encouraged proactive work promotion of autonomous police and shared opinions on current key initiatives including measures to protect elderly crime victims, prevent sexual violence, and prepare emergency measures to prevent major traffic accidents, while also listening to difficulties and having a time of communication.

Chief Yoon Hu-ui stated, “We will provide public safety administrative services closely related to the daily lives of local residents, including the fields of life safety and traffic, as well as expanding support for socially vulnerable groups and crime victims.”
