[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] A job fair that can serve as a catalyst for revitalizing the employment market will be held in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions.
The Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration (Director Jang Daegyo), in collaboration with Gwangju Metropolitan City, Jeollanam-do, Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, and Korea Electric Power Corporation, announced that it will hold an "Online Job Fair" from the 27th of this month to the 10th of next month to expand employment opportunities for talented youth in the region.
The online job fair is an event held annually by the Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration to provide recruitment information of excellent small and medium enterprises (SMEs) non-face-to-face, allowing young job seekers to participate easily.
The fair is expected to feature about 100 outstanding SMEs, including companies recommended by Job Korea and companies located in the Energy Valley recruitment hall, among other decent local SMEs.
Any job seeker wishing to find employment can participate by accessing the job fair website, signing up as a member, and submitting documents online to the desired companies.
The site will provide various employment support services such as reference materials needed for writing resumes and self-introductions, resume templates, interview answers, and job-specific interviews.
Director Jang Daegyo stated, "Through this job fair event, we expect to greatly contribute to revitalizing the local economy in the With-Corona era by matching many young job seekers with excellent local SMEs," and added, "We will continue to take the lead in resolving difficulties faced by SMEs through manpower supply projects."
