Mayor Park personally boarded a combine harvester to help with the rice harvesting and shared conversations with the farmers, celebrating the joy of the harvest together.
This year, the city is supporting various projects for rice-growing farms, such as income stabilization funds for farms, management stabilization funds, joint pest control, seedling box treatment agents, and protective clothing, to resolve the rural labor shortage and reduce management cost burdens.
In particular, next year, the city plans to expand support for the joint pest control project for rice, which is highly preferred by farmers.
