Korea Investment & Securities Expands Overseas Bond Lineup with Credit Suisse
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Junho] Korea Investment & Securities, a subsidiary of Korea Financial Group, announced on the 26th that it has signed an overseas bond advisory agreement with the global investment bank (IB) Credit Suisse to expand its overseas bond product lineup.
Through this agreement, Korea Investment & Securities will select and supply excellent overseas bonds that are in high demand among global ultra-high-net-worth individuals, based on Credit Suisse's overseas bond investment pool and expert research-based advisory. This is expected to provide customers with a wider variety of overseas bonds.
In particular, the company plans to strengthen asset management services by expanding the product lineup for ultra-high-net-worth individuals such as domestic family offices.

A representative from Korea Investment & Securities said, "Overseas bonds are essential for global portfolio composition, but there is still a lack of specialized overseas bond advisory and supply in Korea," adding, "We plan to provide differentiated products and services through collaboration with global IBs in the future, including supplying various overseas bonds necessary for customer portfolio composition."
