'Squid Game' Leads Lee Jung-jae and Lee Byung-hun Head to the US
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actors Lee Jung-jae and Lee Byung-hun, who set the world on fire with 'Squid Game,' are heading to the United States.
According to their agencies on the 25th, Lee Jung-jae and Lee Byung-hun have been invited to attend the '2021 Art+Film Gala' held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) in Los Angeles, USA.
Lee Byung-hun attends the event every year, and Lee Jung-jae was invited in 2019 and walked the red carpet. Additionally, director Hwang Dong-hyuk, who directed 'Squid Game,' is also expected to accompany them.
The status of the two actors has changed. Given the high interest due to the popularity of the recently released Netflix series 'Squid Game,' major Hollywood figures are expected to focus their attention on them.
The event has been held annually since 2011 to honor the legacies of masters who have promoted the development of contemporary art and visual arts.
