Hwasun-gun Launches 'National Safety Inspection Campaign'
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 25th that it has been conducting the ‘2021 National Safety Diagnosis’ campaign to promote citizen participation until the end of this month.
The county completed safety inspections of 35 priority hazardous facilities in the fields of construction, civil engineering, electricity, gas, and fire, and on the 23rd held a ‘Safety Diagnosis Resident Participation’ campaign at the Goindol Traditional Market.
Centered around Goindol Traditional Market, the campaign distributed home self-safety inspection checklists and promotional materials to visitors and merchants at the market to encourage voluntary participation in home safety diagnosis.
A county official said, “It is important to check the safety status of your own home by yourself,” and added, “Free safety inspections of hazardous facilities are being conducted until the end of this month, so we ask for active participation.”
