Financial Supervisory Service Opens Applications for 'Practical University Finance' Course for First Semester 2022
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] The Financial Supervisory Service announced that it will accept applications for the 2022 first semester 'University Practical Finance' course from the 25th to the 31st.
Since 2016, the Financial Supervisory Service has been supporting the establishment of University Practical Finance courses so that university students can acquire financial skills necessary for real life through regular curricula.
In the second semester of this year, 89 universities (26.3% of the 339 universities nationwide) applied to open University Practical Finance courses, and about 7,000 university students took the courses.

An official from the Financial Supervisory Service said, "The courses are composed of practical content ranging from understanding financial markets and products to financial investment, credit management, and lifetime financial planning, receiving positive evaluations from students," and added, "For universities opening courses in the first semester of 2022, we plan to provide free support for professors, textbooks, and online lecture videos."
