[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Service announced on the 21st that Chief Choi Byeong-am visited the site of the '2021 Korea Wood Industry Expo' held at Seoul Expo and delivered a congratulatory speech. In his speech, Chief Choi said, "In these times of climate crisis, the proportion and role of wood usage as a carbon storage are increasing," adding, "The Korea Forest Service will strive to increase wood demand through application development while raising the self-sufficiency rate of wood to balance the supply and demand of wood."
