Gimhae City to Provide Additional 300,000 KRW per Taxi and Charter Bus Driver
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 21st that it has provided an additional support fund of 300,000 KRW per person to 1,856 individual and corporate taxi and charter bus drivers who have been severely affected by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
This support is part of the Gimhae Economic Vitality Fund, with 398 million KRW of city funds invested. In addition to this support fund, the city has allocated a total budget of 595 million KRW (provincial and city funds) this year alone, providing 800,000 KRW in February and May. As a result, each person will receive a total support fund of 1.1 million KRW.
