Jin Air Introduces Tmoney Pay Simple Payment Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Jin Air announced on the 21st that it will provide the first T-money simple payment service in the airline industry.
The 'T-money Pay' introduced by Jin Air is a simple payment platform centered on transportation card functions such as nationwide public transportation and express buses, usable in 42 countries overseas. It features versatility and practicality, including global mobile QR payments.
Customers using T-money Pay can select T-money Pay as the payment method during the booking stage through Jin Air's website mobile web or app, just like existing simple payment services. After that, the airline ticket booking is completed with a simple payment authentication process without installing a separate certificate. Additional services such as advance seat selection and bundle services can also be paid together.
They also operate 'T-money Biz Pay' for corporate members. T-money Biz Pay is a mobile transportation payment service for business use that allows corporate employees to easily handle transportation expenses for work purposes without corporate cards or vouchers. From now on, employees of companies subscribed to T-money Biz Pay can easily pay for Jin Air domestic and international flights along with subway, taxi, airport bus, and highway tolls when traveling for business trips or fieldwork.
The introduction of the T-money Pay simple payment service is the first result of the strategic business agreement signed between Jin Air and T-money in March this year. In the future, Jin Air and T-money plan to launch a service that links and provides domestic and international flight schedules and fare inquiry information along with other transportation means within T-money's integrated mobility platform 'T-money GO.'
Jin Air explained, "We will continue to enhance customer convenience through collaboration between the two companies, which have various airline networks and public transportation and mobility payment services."
