'TIGER 2nd Battery Theme ETF' Surpasses 1 Trillion KRW in Net Assets
[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] Mirae Asset Global Investments announced on the 21st that the net assets of the TIGER Secondary Battery Theme ETF have surpassed 1 trillion KRW.
According to the Korea Exchange, as of the closing price on the 20th, the net assets of the TIGER Secondary Battery Theme ETF were recorded at 1.1272 trillion KRW. This ETF's net assets increased by 738.7 billion KRW this year, making it the largest among domestically listed secondary battery theme ETFs.
The TIGER Secondary Battery Theme ETF invests in the domestic secondary battery value chain. The secondary battery theme is expected to benefit from the growth of the global electric vehicle market and ESS (Energy Storage System) expansion.
This product tracks the WISE Secondary Battery Theme Index. This index selects its universe through keyword analysis of securities firms' reports and consists of stocks related to secondary battery production, raw material production, and equipment manufacturing. By limiting the maximum weight of individual stocks to 10%, the index maintains well-diversified weights among stocks and features a relatively high proportion of secondary battery material companies.
