Udang Lee Hoe-Young Teacher Education and Culture Foundation Chairman Lee Jong-Chan Holds Art Donation Ceremony
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jongno-gu (Mayor Kim Young-jong) held an art donation ceremony on the 20th with Lee Jong-chan, chairman of the Udang Lee Hoe-young Education and Culture Foundation, and arranged a gathering to express gratitude.
This donation ceremony was held as the Udang Memorial Hall, previously located in Singyo-dong, Jongno-gu, was rebuilt as the Seoul Lee Hoe-young Memorial Hall and relocated to Namsan Yejang Park. Chairman Lee Jong-chan of the Udang Education and Culture Foundation donated the art pieces he had collected over time to Jongno-gu.
Among the 31 donated artworks are Han Yong-un’s "Samusa (思無邪)" and Kim Ji-ha’s "Living for the Country."
