Support for Security Device Provision, Risk Detection, and Emergency Dispatch in Risk Situations... Assistance Provided to 850 Households Including Single-Person, Legally Single-Parent, and Female-Only Families
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seon-gap) is supporting the ‘Jikyeoju Homes’ security door service to create a safe living environment for single-person households.
The ‘Jikyeoju Homes’ security door service provides security devices such as wireless entrance CCTV and supports emergency dispatch services by the police and security companies in case of dangerous situations.
The ‘Jikyeoju Homes’ security devices consist of wireless entrance CCTV, intrusion detection sensors, SOS emergency bells, and a mobile app, and are installed free of charge without separate drilling work.
The main features include ▲real-time video monitoring at the entrance ▲loiterer detection and alerts ▲two-way communication ▲24-hour dispatch service, and compensation services are also provided free of charge, covering theft up to 10 million KRW, damage up to 5 million KRW, fire up to 100 million KRW, and parcel theft up to 500,000 KRW.
The district supports a total of 850 households by waiving the monthly usage fee of 9,900 KRW for one year. In particular, the eligibility criteria have been expanded to include not only male and female single-person households but also legally recognized single-parent households and households composed only of women (such as sisters, mother and daughter, grandparents and grandchildren), differentiating it from other districts.
Prior to this, Gwangjin-gu signed a business agreement with the Gwangjin Police Station and ADT Caps for the ‘Jikyeoju Homes’ security service.
Accordingly, the Gwangjin Police Station will cooperate with ADT Caps to support emergency dispatch in case of intrusion alarms. ADT Caps provides installation of the security service, handling of service complaints, and free support for device installation costs.
