KakaoBank to Resume Jeonse Loans Starting from the 22nd
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] KakaoBank will resume new general jeonse and monthly rent deposit loans, which were suspended on the 8th, starting on the 22nd. However, if the couple owns one or more houses combined, new jeonse and monthly rent deposit loan applications are not allowed.
KakaoBank stated that new loan applications are possible if the loan is applied for before the balance payment date of the jeonse or monthly rent contract.
However, if the customer already holds a jeonse or monthly rent deposit loan from KakaoBank or other financial institutions, additional loan increases are not allowed. For customers without existing loans, loans are only available for the increased amount upon contract renewal.
